What’s the difference between a ‘Fast Fix’ and a ‘Full Look’ makeup session?

If you are short on time but still want to the professional makeup artist touch, then the ‘Fast Fix’ is the perfect choice! A ‘Full Look’ session is Facebar London’s complete professional makeup artist experience, perfect for when you want to look and feel your absolute best! The 40-minute session begins with a personal consultation with your makeup artist. You’ll then receive a soothing skin cleanse and prep followed by a full and longer lasting professional makeup application. Can I book a specific makeup artist?

All of Facebar London’s makeup artists are professional freelance makeup artists who work on fashion shoots and shows when they are not working as a makeup artist at Facebar. This means that we are unable to guarantee a specific makeup artist for a specific time. However, a request can be made for a particular makeup artist, and where possible, we will endeavor to fulfill your request.

Can Facebar’s makeup artists create makeup on all skintones?

Absolutely, all Facebar makeup artists are skilled in the application of professional makeup for everyone; all skin tones (from the deepest to the palest), all ages and skin types and, of course, all genders.

Can I book a hair stylist or manicurist at the same time as my session with my makeup artist?

Facebar London’s unique makeup concept is solely focused on providing you with the expert services of our makeup artists. Unlike beauty destinations who offer numerous beauty services, our focus is on bringing you the experience of professional makeup artists who create beautiful modern makeup.

Will my makeup session cost me more if I have problem skin?

No, your session will not cost more. However, depending on your skin condition your makeup artist may need to spend slightly longer with you, so we would recommend booking our 1-hour “Full Look Plus” session which includes full skin prep prior to makeup application.

Do I need to book a makeup session ahead of time?

We advise making advance bookings during our peak times, especially at the weekend. However, please call us as we may be able to schedule you in for a makeup session at late notice.

Can I have a makeup lesson from a makeup artist?

Absolutely, Facebar London offers one-to-one makeup lessons upon request. We offer a 1-hour session or for an even more indepth lesson we have a 2-hour session. During your makeup lesson one of our expert makeup artists will create a day makeup look and then transform this into a more glamorous evening look on you whilst showing you all the professional tricks and techniques you can then use to recreate them.

What is involved in a Masterclass?

Our 2 hour makeup masterclasses begin with a Facebar makeup artist demonstrating a ‘perfectly polished’ daytime look, which is then transformed into a more dramatic evening look. The makeup artist will also explain each step, the best products to use and pass on expert tips and techniques.

Following the demonstration a Q&A time will give everyone the opportunity to get even more beauty tips, including how to make your makeup longer-lasting, how to contour your face, the latest makeup trends and more.

Everyone also receives a £10 voucher towards any makeup or skin care products purchased at the event.
