Facebar London Limited (“Facebar”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy (together with the Terms and Conditions of Use and any other documents we refer to in this policy or the Terms and Conditions of Use) set out how we will use your personal information and who it will be shared with. This Privacy Policy applies when you use our Services (described below). We offer our customers choices about the data we collect, use and share as described in this Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Terms and Conditions of use.

WHY DO WE RETAIN PERSONAL DATA?

We retain Personal Data in an identifiable format for the least amount of time necessary to fulfil our legal or regulatory obligations and for our business purposes. We will not process data after 10 years from your last activity on your Account. We may retain Personal Data for longer periods than required by law if it is in our legitimate business interests and not prohibited by law. If your Account is closed, we may take steps to mask Personal Data and other information, but we reserve our ability to retain and access the data for so long as required to comply with applicable laws. With other companies that provide services to us: We share Personal Data with third-party service providers that perform services and functions at our direction and on our behalf. Our providers include companies who will process our credit and debit card payments; companies who maintain our website and credits system, and companies that maintain our mailing lists and other contact details.

With other third parties for our business purposes or as permitted or required by law. We may share information about you with other parties for Facebar’s business purposes or as permitted or required by law, including:

to protect the vital interests of a person; to investigate violations of or enforce a user agreement or other legal terms applicable to any Service;

to help assess and manage risk and prevent fraud against us, our Users and fraud involving our Sites or use of our Services, including fraud that occurs at or involves our business partners, strategic ventures, or other individuals, and institutions;

Sometimes it may be necessary to share your data with parties who are based or who operate outside of the European Economic Area. Currently this happens where we share it with contact management companies such as Mailchimp. We also use Google Analytics services (for more information see our Cookies policy), and again data may be processed outside of the EEA as a result of our use of cookies.
We always ensure that safeguards are in place whenever personal data is transferred outside of the EEA. Currently, these take the form of Model Clauses approved by the European Commission and binding corporate rules. In addition, if we use a service provider based in the USA then we expect them to be registered under the EU-US Privacy Shield.

DATA SECURITY

Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site as transmission via the internet is never completely secure; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information all the information you provide us is stored on secured servers. All payment transactions will be encrypted. Please keep usernames and passwords confidential.

REVIEW OF ANONYMOUS DATA FROM GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We are committed to ensuring that our website contains content that is valuable and useful to our website visitors. To assist us in this, we have implemented Google Analytics demographics and interest-reporting features on our website. These tools allow us to review anonymous data regarding the gender, age and interests of website visitors and adapt our website content to better reflect their needs. Although this information is collected through your Google Ad settings, it is not provided to us in a personally identifiable format. This means we cannot identify what information is about you, and we will not try to figure it out.

You can opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customise Google Display Network ads using the Google Ad settings or through the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

DIRECT MARKETING

We want to keep you up to date on our latest products, promotional offers and events. If you have agreed when you registered, we can inform you about these and other services and events we offer by email.

We may collect data about you by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies allow us to: recognise your computer when you access www.facebarlondon.com and log into your account with your user name and password; and remember the goods that you placed in your shopping bag and saves you having to enter the basic contact information that you provided us with on setting up your Facebar London account.
